This is my second time dining here and both instances the experience has been wonderful. They're located on corner of Main Street/Garfield Ave. at Sprouts shopping plaza. Parking is plentiful. Place is huge inside and quite spacious. It has modern industrial vibe with ample seating. You can call ahead of time to make reservation. We arrived before dinner rush and got seated quickly. They offer so many unique and delicious options. Protein and vegetable selections were abundant and fresh. Plus seafood such as shrimp, scallop, crab, octopus, fish, and crawfish. You have choice of four kinds of soup base broth - miso, spicy, beef bone broth. You can also combine the broth. Spicy beef bone and miso broth provides the perfect kick to everything which was my favorite combo. For protein, we tried everything but enjoyed filet mignon and lamb the most. Meat was super tender and literally melt in your mouth. Service was quick and efficient. Buffet area was clean and well stocked. Only complaint, soft serve ice cream station was broken so no dessert for us...boooo! Price of the meal was $34 per person on weekends and AYCE has 90 minute limit. We did a lot of damage per time restriction, so worth it. Can't wait to come back.

While looking for dinner options, my boyfriend wanted something hearty and I wanted something healthy so All That Shabu was somewhere we could both get what we want and a lot of variety. This is an all you can eat restaurant and pricing at the time of our visit was $33.99/adult for weekends and holidays. This includes the soup base of choice, meat to order from their wait staff, and you can help yourself to some hot items, vegetables, seafood, noodles, and other common hot pot accompaniments. I was so amused by the contrast of my boyfriend and my selections. Even with our vegetables he picked the napas where I preferred the darker greens like the bok choy. Also he was more one plate at a time, where I gathered all of the items before I sat down and started eating. I really like selection of the fish balls, shrimp ball, lobster ball, crab ball, fish cakes and other things. I like the kabocha squash, which is sooooo hard to cut at home so this is a nice indulgence without the hard work. I also grabbed some eggs to poach towards the end of the meal. Yum. Great place for options and variety, and something for everyone... I guess as long as they like soup. Service could have been more attentive and my soup based was not refilled while I was here, unlike with the Irvine location. The pot got really dried up towards the end and difficult to cook the last few items in the meal.

I drive all the way down to Irvine to eat here. Pros 1. Great selection of broth, meats, sauces, everything 2. Drinks are included 3. Hot food section is always good 4. Always fast and consistent service 5. John, the manager, has ice in his veins and manages and leads his team well despite the busy chaos on the weekends Get here early on the weekends. 4:30 is the best time, trust me. Cons None

If you're thinking about whether you should try this place, do it. You won't be disappointed. The meat quality is great for the price. They do have a number of side dishes to choose from, which are generally just ok. However, they have a lot of options of various vegetables, seafood balls (such as fish and calamari), and other items to add into your hotpot. They also have an awesome variety of sauces. I've been here a couple of times and have thoroughly enjoyed it each time! I will definitely be back. This is a great date spot although not very dressy. There's also generally plenty of parking in the lot.

We had a 20 minute wait for Friday night dinner. Not bad. Gave me a chance to walk around the plaza to pass the time. Friday dinner price is $33.99. It covers all the items on the menu (there are three items for dinner and weekend only: ribeye, chuck flat, and lamb) as well as the various stations for veggies, seafood, appetizers, dessert and drinks. I was surprised to find a variety of seafood, like shrimp, scallop, clams, and fish. They even have Korean fishcake on skewers for you to put in your hot pot. The self-serve soda fountain has Pepsi products and they also have unsweetened green and black tea. We ordered several, several rounds of the brisket, flat iron, chuck eye steak, short plate, filet mignon, ribeye, chuck flat and lamb. The ribeye is the leanest. We ended up ordering the filet mignon, chuck flat, and ribeye the most. For dessert, the soft serve machine offers vanilla, chocolate, or a swirl of both flavors. It was more on the icy side, so not really my jam. I actually enjoyed their sesame balls way more (at the first station on your left). Very impressed with their variety of meats and other things you can throw in your hot pot + the included drinks and dessert for the price. They were also playing lots of kpop that night (though some songs were skipping as if they're being played on a Sony Walkman or something lol), so overall an enjoyable first visit to All That Shabu! Plenty of parking in the plaza, though you might have to park further during prime meal time.

The restaurant was clean and fun. They had current music playing in the background. The filet and rib eye were dry. The brisket was probable the best beef pmeat. The short steak was super fatty. The pork belly was fatty but good. The first orders of lamb were really good. The last order tasted a bit dry. The meats were all extremely thin sliced. That was good. It made you feel like you were eating more than you were. The soups are all tasty as they pour. The soup at the end of your meal becomes super salty. Most other shabu places give soup that are not very flavorful, so the soup at the end has flavor and is very tasty. All that Shabu has soup that already has flavor so the soup at the end is very salty. The veggies, seafood, and fish balls are all excellent. The fried chicken was dry and not good. Everything else did not disappoint. The best items were the crab, brisket, and the ice green tea. HAPPY SHABUING!
